A new Autumn exploration table has arrived in Reception. This week we are focusing on particular strands of our curriculum in EYFS in the area of ‘Understanding the World: The World’. You can take a look at our curriculum by following this link: http://ram.aceprimary.co.uk/wp-content/uploads/2015/10/Development-Matters-FINAL-PRINT-AMENDED.pdf
The EYFS strands are:
30-50M Comments and asks questions about aspects of their familiar world such as the place where they live or the natural world.
Can talk about some of the things they have observed such as plants, animals, natural and found objects.
Developing an understanding of growth, decay and changes over time.
Shows care and concern for living things and the environment.
40-60M Looks closely at similarities, differences, patterns and change.
Why not go for a walk this week with your family and look at the changes around you in the environment. Can you spot signs of Autumn, what are they?
Tell your family about the items you have seen on our exploration table.
