Read Write Inc Phonics

We have learnt the following sounds: m, a, s, d, t, i, n, p, g, o, c, k, u, b

Look out for all these sounds when you are out shopping on signs, food, books, newspaper etc.

Weekend blog challenge: Can your child find 5 items in the supermarket with a ‘b’ on them? Comment on here which 5 items you found so that we can share them at snack time on Monday. House points for all those who accept the challenge and comment on here with their 5 ‘b’ words.
These are the green words we are practising sounding out in school and blending e.g. P-i-n blended together makes pin. Show your grown up how good you are at blending!
